THE RESULTS OF 2020

For the second year in a row, Red Bull’s cans are the number one spot for producers whose products contribute the most to litter. Marlboro is number 2. Heineken has dropped from second to fourth place, and McDonald’s is again in an embarrassing third place.

World Cleanup Day – the largest cleanup action in the world – is also a fast-growing movement in the Netherlands. Yesterday more than 39,324 registered participants, divided over more than 2,517 different actions, went out to clean up litter. That is more than twice as much as last year.
